This energetic position requires a proactive approach to route driving, manual handling, and customer service,and able to pass a background check all while adhering to strict safety and traffic regulations. As a key link in the healthcare logistics chain, you will deliver essential items with professionalism and efficiency, supporting the health and well-being of our community Duties Safely operate cargo vans to transport medical items between facilities and clients. Load and unload shipments using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary. Follow designated routes accurately while adhering to traffic laws and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations to ensure timely deliveries. Conduct routine vehicle inspections, maintain proper documentation, and perform safe lifting practices during loading and unloading processes. Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients upon delivery, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction. Maintain accurate delivery logs using mobile devices or other digital tools to track shipments and delivery statuses efficiently. Requirements Must have high top van or Sprinter van Proven experience in delivery driving, courier services, or warehouse operations with a focus on manual handling and heavy lifting. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating cargo vans highly preferred. Ability to handle manual transmission vehicles and operate material handling equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks safely. Strong knowledge of traffic regulations, DOT compliance, and safe lifting practices in a workplace setting. Excellent customer service skills with clear communication abilities for interacting with clients professionally. Experience using mobile devices for route navigation, delivery confirmation, or record keeping. Ability to lift heavy loads safely while following proper manual handling procedures; physical stamina for moving supplies or specimens as required. Warehouse experience is advantageous for understanding inventory movement and material handling procedures.
