SUMMARY OF POSITION

Working a varied part-time schedule with other couriers, the courier will be responsible for the safe and secure routing and delivery of bank documents and other items throughout the branch network. Other errands or tasks may be assigned.

Essential Functions:

Drive predetermined routes within predetermined timeframes to branch offices and pickup/deliver locked bags and other items as instructed. Complete other assigned tasks which have some driving included, including the pickup/delivery of items for the facilities manager on occasion. Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS

Education And/Or Experience:

Must possess a high school diploma or equivalency. Excellent driving skills with proven driving record are required. (Candidates must have a clear driving record with the PA Department of Motor Vehicles.)

Language Skills:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively with employees of the organization. Must understand security and confidentiality.

Equipment/Tools Skills:

Charged with care of a bank-owned vehicle.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required drive, sit, walk, lift, hear; and to use hands to finger, handle, or touch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus and any other requirements for driving in Pennsylvania.
