What You Agree To We keep our standards clear and simple. Before you take your first route, you'll be asked to read and agree to the following. Before You Start Complete onboarding in full. That means the Independent Contractor Agreement, background and driving record screening, and required insurance documentation. Pass a vehicle inspection. Every vehicle will be inspected before you're cleared for your first route. We'll check that it's safe, clean, in good working order, and suited to the packages you'll carry. Have your vehicle route-ready:
clean, safe, fueled, and suited to the size and type of package you're carrying. On Every Delivery Be efficient. Plan your route, avoid unnecessary stops, and hit your pickup and delivery windows. Be committed. When you accept a route, you complete it. No-shows and last-minute drops hurt the customer, the client, the dispatcher, and the other drivers. Communicate early. Traffic, delays, vehicle trouble, or a problem at pickup? Tell dispatch right away, not after the window has passed. Protect every package. Handle items with care, keep medical specimens and pharmacy items secure and separate from other cargo, and never leave a package unattended. Follow safe handling practices. Apply your Bloodborne Pathogens training on every specimen run, and report any leak, spill, or exposure immediately. Follow chain of custody. Scan, confirm, and document every pickup and drop-off, and get proof of delivery. Respect confidentiality. Customer and client information stays private under HIPAA and our confidentiality standards. No photos, no sharing, no discussing deliveries with anyone outside the delivery. Stay professional. Be courteous with customers, clients, facility staff, and recipients, and represent Daisy Blossom Referrals well. Drive safely and legally. No phone use while driving, no unsafe driving, and no violations. Report any accident or incident to us right away. Report damage, loss, or delivery issues immediately. We'd much rather hear it from you first. Drivers are expected to follow our package damage and liability policy. Follow client site rules, including pickup procedures, security check-ins, and any location-specific requirements. Accountability Repeated late deliveries, missed routes, or unreported issues may result in loss of route access or termination of the contractor agreement. Lapsed or invalid certifications will pause route eligibility until renewed. Dependable, communicative drivers get first consideration for additional and recurring routes.
