McCormick Law Firm has an opening for a full-time courier position. This job is 40 hours a week, working 9 am-5 pm in a professional office setting.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Reliable vehicle to drive (vehicle not provided)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite-including outlook and word
• Ability to operate standard office equipment-computer, scanner, printer, postage meter, etc.
• Ability to climb stairs and lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Travel to/from various locations as needed, including but not limited to courthouses in the surrounding areas, banks, post offices, businesses, etc.
• Hand Deliver and retrieve items as directed
• Collect, sort and deliver all mail/packages to appropriate parties
• Ordering and picking up staff lunches
• Interact with management, clients, coworkers, businesses and the general public in a professional manner
• Keep accurate mileage and reimbursement records
• Minor maintenance at the office, requiring lifting and the ability to easily climb 4 flights off stairs without issues.
• Breakroom stocking and general cleaning up
• Perform other duties as assigned such as light snow removal, leaf blowing and trash removal
