What You'll Do:

The Contracted Medical Courier is the vital link between our local clinic partners and our laboratory. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting medical specimens, documents, and supplies along a designated daily route. Because you will be interacting with our clinic clients daily, a professional demeanor and excellent time-management skills are required.

Secure Transport:

Safely pick up and transport medical specimens,biological samples, and paperwork from local physician offices and clinics to our laboratory in

Piedmont Route Efficiency:

Navigate established daily routes efficiently within the 4-hour shift timeframe.

Documentation:

Accurately complete digital tracking forms, daily courier log sheets, and chain-of-custody documentation for all pickups and deliveries.

Specimen Integrity:

Ensure all specimens are transported at the correct temperatures (room temperature, refrigerated, or frozen) using provided coolers and supplies.

Client Relations:

Represent TIGER Diagnostics Laboratory professionally, maintaining courteous and positive relationships with clinic staff.

Vehicle Maintenance:

Ensure your personal transport vehicle is kept clean and in safe working order. And more...

What We're Looking For:

Must be at least 18 years of age. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (a motor vehicle record check will be required). Reliable personal vehicle with current, valid auto insurance. Punctual, highly organized, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision. Familiarity with the Piedmont and greater Upstate SC area roads and traffic patterns. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and comfortably enter and exit a vehicle frequently throughout the shift. Prior experience as a medical courier or delivery driver is a plus, but we will train the right candidate. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and biological specimen handling is preferred but not required (training provided).
