Responsibilities Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, adhering to all traffic laws and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Load and unload appliances using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and dollies. Execute precise route driving to ensure timely deliveries across designated areas. Assist customers with appliance placement, setup, and basic operation instructions upon delivery. Conduct thorough inspections of appliances prior to delivery to ensure product integrity. Maintain accurate delivery documentation using mobile devices and electronic logs. Follow safe lifting practices for heavy or bulky items, minimizing injury risk during manual handling tasks. Qualifications Previous experience in delivery driving, warehouse operations, or courier services is highly preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving or van driving is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to operate manual transmission vehicles and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks. Knowledge of warehouse operations, heavy lifting techniques, and safe lifting practices. Familiarity with route planning, traffic regulations, and DOT (Department of Transportation) compliance standards.
