Available Help for . Service drivers operate smaller vehicles that don't require a Commercial Driver's License (CDL). These vehicles operate on the METROcurb2curb shared-ride service and on select METRO bus routes.
If you speak Spanish, Vietnamese, Chinese, French, Arabic, Korean, or American Sign Language, youre eligible for a bilingual pay incentive.
Requirements:
At least 21 years of age Possess high school diploma or GED from an accredited entity
Ability to speak, read and write in English
Possess valid Texas driver's license, or be able to obtain one, if you're from another state
Licensed driver for at least three years
Successfully pass a pre-employment performance evaluation
Successfully pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam
Successfully pass a drug / alcohol screen
Successfully pass a pre-employment background investigation
Possess a minimum of three year general work experience, preferably including driving or direct customer service
