Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Driver and Helper with Pack-It Movers, where your energy and dedication will drive our success! Whether you're behind the wheel or assisting with physical tasks, you'll play a vital part in helping clients transition seamlessly to their new spaces. Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks and commercial vehicles with manual transmission to deliver and pick up items across designated routes Load and unload household or commercial belongings using heavy lifting techniques, pallet jacks, forklifts, or other equipment as needed Assist customers with moving items into or out of their homes or businesses, providing excellent customer service throughout each interaction Follow planned delivery routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and vehicle inspection reports Collaborate with team members to ensure timely deliveries and pickups, supporting each other in fast-paced environments Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met before and after each shift Skills ( Preferred , Not Required) Proven experience in delivery driving or courier services with a focus on route driving and customer interaction Strong ability to perform heavy lifting safely during loading and unloading processes Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus Excellent driving skills with a valid driver's license suitable for operating box trucks or similar vehicles Knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and best practices for commercial driving Exceptional customer service skills to create positive experiences during deliveries Ability to work efficiently in physically demanding environments while maintaining attention to detail Ready to move forward?
