Oculus Pathology provides leading-edge anatomic and clinical pathology services throughout the Austin, San Antonio, Corpus Christi, and Waco medical communities. Our organization is currently recruiting one back-up full-time courier for the Waco region. The courier will transport slides, specimens, requisitions, paperwork, and run errands as needed. The courier route will cover Waco region Individuals applying must have a high school degree or equivalent, a driver's license, insurance, a safe driving record, and good social and interpersonal skills. This 40 hour a week position is Monday-Friday with an eight-hour workday. A company car and cell phone will be provided. Excellent customer service and the ability to plan effective travel routes are important responsibilities of this position.

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT

Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record. Punctual and regular attendance. Maintain a well-groomed appearance.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

High School graduate or equivalent

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to operate a vehicle for up to 8 hours/day. Requires walking and carrying supplies or specimens. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. While performing the duties of this job, employees should be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. The employee is required to stand and walk, occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch—some bending and stretching are required.
