Job Description
Description The City of Roanoke's Fire/EMS Department is seeking a part-time courier drive who can retrieve and deliver mail, supplies, and other necessary items to the various fire stations and other departments within the City of Roanoke in a timely and safe manner. Ideal candidate has knowledge of City of Roanoke facility locations for the Fire-EMS department and other city facilities. Examples of Duties Pick up and transport parcels, packages, and other deliverables between all fire stations as well as other city facilities Coordinate daily (Monday-Friday) with Fire-EMS administration office for schedule and list of deliveries Typical Qualifications High school diploma or GED certificate At least 21 years of age Valid driver's license Ability to lift up to 75 pounds Safe driving skills and ability to multitask Strong customer service skills N/A
