We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. This role requires excellent customer service skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to handle physical demands associated with the job. Duties
- Safely operate a box truck (18') or similar vehicle to deliver products to designated locations.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring that items are secured and protected during transit.
- Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules, making adjustments as necessary for efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including obtaining signatures and documenting any issues.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing any concerns.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and compliance. Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a courier role is preferred.
- Experience in heavy lifting and moving of goods is essential for this role. Lift up to 50 lbs and maneuver up to 150 lbs with a hand truck.
- Knowledge of route driving techniques to optimize delivery efficiency.
