Job Description

Route Drop Walker — Door Local Full-time • W-2 • Non-exempt About the Role Door Local is hiring Route Drop Walkers to deliver flyers across the Denver metro.
Straightforward work:
you're paid hourly to walk pre-mapped neighborhood routes and hang flyers to SOP. Clear expectations, clear metrics, fair pay. If you enjoy being outdoors, walking, and being measured on results while being paid hourly, this role is for you.
Important:
This job requires an Android phone, a personal vehicle, and the ability to walk 6-10 miles per day. If you don't meet all three, this role won't be a fit.
Quick self-check:
if the idea of walking for a few hours and hanging 80+ flyers per hour sounds miserable, this probably isn't your job. If it sounds doable and you like clear goals, keep reading. Pay $24/hour, flat. W-2, non-exempt. Time is tracked and paid hourly every 2 weeks. Paid time starts when you begin your first assigned route segment and runs through your last segment of the day, including travel between assigned areas. What You'll Do Walk pre-mapped neighborhood routes and hang flyers according to SOP. Typically complete 1-3 route segments per day (each ~250-300 doors). Use our Android mobile app for GPS breadcrumb tracking and photo checkpoints. Follow safety guidelines and attend short daily huddles. Maintain a high QA pass rate (reruns required on misses). Pace & Performance Expectations Our routes are built for people who like to move. 70 flyers per hour is the minimum performance floor. After training, if you can't reach and maintain that, this job won't be a fit. Walkers who enjoy walking and stay focused typically end up around 100 flyers per hour in normal areas. Your main performance metrics are segments completed per day, doors per hour, and QA pass rate. Day 1 includes a short paid route evaluation to confirm mutual fit. If this pace isn't realistic for you, no hard feelings — it just won't be the right fit. If you already walk a lot, have done delivery or warehouse work, or enjoy hitting step goals, you'll be fine here. Route Quality Standards For our internal QA, a segment counts as successfully completed when: GPS coverage is ≥95% of the mapped route. Required photo checkpoints throughout the segment are completed in the app. Flyers are placed correctly (no bunching or obvious skipping). It's completed within the assigned time window. These standards keep things fair and consistent. Pay is hourly; continued employment depends on meeting these quality and pace expectations. Schedule Monday-Friday, daylight hours (weekends optional for extra shifts). Full-time and part-time available; routes vary by day and location. You'll be stocked with flyers weekly, then go directly from home to your assigned areas — no daily office check-in. Transportation Personal vehicle required to reach assigned routes across the Denver metro. Public transit and ride-shares are not suitable for this role, as routes vary daily and may require traveling between multiple neighborhoods. Requirements — Android Phone Required You must have an Android smartphone capable of installing our route tracking app. The job requires GPS tracking, photo checkpoints, and route verification through the app. iPhones are not supported for this role. You're a Fit If You can walk 6-10 miles per day while delivering flyers door-to-door. You can comfortably move at a brisk, consistent pace (~80+ flyers per hour after training). You're comfortable using a smartphone app and following SOPs. You like being measured on clear metrics. You're punctual, honest, and take pride in doing simple work well. Why Join Us Clear expectations and the same metrics every day. Biweekly pay. Outdoor work, no micromanagement.
