Independent Contractor Delivery Driver (Personal Vehicle) - Package DeliveryJob Summary We are seeking reliable, motivated, and customer-focused Independent Contractor Delivery Drivers to deliver packages for Highrip inc using their own vehicle. This is a 1099 contract position ideal for individuals who enjoy working independently, staying active, and earning based on completed delivery routes. Drivers will pick up packages from a designated warehouse and deliver them safely and efficiently along assigned routes. Routes vary daily and may include residential and commercial deliveries. Successful drivers are dependable, organized, and committed to providing excellent service while meeting delivery deadlines. Responsibilities Pick up assigned packages from the designated distribution facility. Deliver packages safely and efficiently using your personal vehicle. Follow GPS navigation and assigned delivery routes while adapting to changing traffic conditions. Complete deliveries within scheduled timeframes. Scan packages and obtain delivery confirmation using the required delivery app. Maintain clear communication with dispatch regarding route progress or delivery issues. Handle packages carefully to prevent damage. Follow all traffic laws and company safety guidelines. Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while representing the company. Requirements Must be at least 21 years old. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Reliable personal vehicle (car, SUV, crossover, or minivan preferred). Current vehicle registration and insurance. Smartphone (iPhone or Android) with reliable data service for delivery applications. Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Must pass any required background screening. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience with Amazon DSP, FedEx Ground, UPS, USPS, Veho, Roadie, Spark, DoorDash, Uber Eats, Instacart, or other courier/delivery services is a plus, but not required. Familiarity with GPS navigation and local roadways. Compensation & Schedule 1099 Independent Contractor Position Competitive pay per route (and/or per package, depending on assignment).
