No Degree RequiredResponsibilities Safe Vehicle Operation:

Drive medium-duty commercial vehicles (single vehicles with a GVWR over 26,001 lbs, or towing a trailer under 10,000 lbs) in compliance with DOT regulations, traffic laws, and safety guidelines.

Loading & Cargo Handling:

Secure loads using straps or chains, verify freight against bills of lading, and perform manual loading/unloading using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or lift gates as required.

Inspections & Maintenance:

Conduct thorough Pre-Trip and Post-Trip vehicle inspections (DVIR), perform basic maintenance (checking fluids, tire pressure), and report mechanical issues immediately.

Documentation & Logs:

Maintain electronic logging devices (ELD) or paper logbooks, track delivery schedules, and obtain customer delivery signatures.

Customer Interface:

Represent the company professionally during client stops, handling delivery inquiries and resolving site-access issues on the spot.
