Job Description
JNQ Enterprises is building a team of reliable Cargo Van Delivery Drivers for upcoming package delivery opportunities throughout the Des Moines area. We are looking for dependable, self-motivated individuals who take pride in showing up on time, completing their routes, and communicating professionally. This is a 1099 Independent Contractor opportunity. Delivery opportunities are anticipated and are not guaranteed until routes/contracts are confirmed. What You'll Do
- Pick up and deliver packages throughout assigned delivery areas
- Complete routes safely, accurately, and within required delivery windows
- Use a smartphone for GPS navigation and delivery updates
- Maintain communication with dispatch when necessary
- Handle packages carefully and professionally
- Provide excellent service at delivery locations
- Follow all applicable delivery and safety requirements What We're Looking For
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Reliable smartphone with GPS and data service
- Dependable transportation to the dispatch/pickup location
- Ability to work independently without constant supervision
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Consistent availability for delivery opportunities
- Ability to pass a background check if required by the applicable contract
- Package, courier, Amazon, FedEx, UPS, DoorDash, medical courier, or similar delivery experience is a plus Schedule
- Opportunities may be available 5-7 days per week
- Weekday and weekend availability is preferred
- Start times and route lengths will depend on the specific contract
