Job Description
KOS Distribution is a Latin American food distributor delivering to retailers in Tennessee, Alabama, Kentucky, Georgia, Indiana and Mississippi. We are currently expandng our operations and experiencing exceptional growth and are in need of delivery drivers who don't mind getting on the road early in the morning. A typical work week is Mon-Fri with an occasional weekend delivery. Drivers are typically home nightly. The position requires drivers to unload and in some cases, check product in and receive payments from the receiver. All box trucks and tractor-trailers have lift gates for stores that do not have loading docks. This is a CDL-A position. Bi-Lingual is a plus but not required Following the best practices for safety, both on the road and while loading or unloading a truck Communicating with dispatchers, drivers and other team members to make deliveries Meeting delivery deadlines Performing basic truck maintenance Loading and unloading cargo Tracking shipments and deliveries Obtaining client or customer signatures and Payments when needed
