• Katy, TX JDR Courier Express is hiring dependable Full-Time 1099 Independent Contractor Delivery to start Tomorrow .

We want to be upfront about this opportunity so you know exactly what to expect before applying. This is active, physically demanding delivery work. Routes may include apartment complexes, stairs, multiple buildings, parking challenges, and frequent getting in and out of your vehicle. If you're dependable, enjoy staying active, can work independently, and are good at figuring things out on your own, this may be a great fit. PAY $1.75 per completed stop Typical daily earnings: $100

• 170+ depending on route volume and completed stops.

This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Pay is per completed stop, NOT hourly, and daily earnings are not guaranteed.

PAY SCHEDULE

Your first payment is received two weeks after your start date. After the initial two-week period, payments are issued weekly. Please make sure you understand the pay schedule before accepting the position.

YOU WILL USE YOUR OWN VEHICLE

Drivers are required to use their own reliable car or SUV to complete deliveries. As a 1099 independent contractor, you are responsible for your own: Gas/fuel Vehicle maintenance and repairs Tires and normal wear and tear Auto insurance Phone/service Other expenses associated with operating your vehicle Please make sure you're comfortable using your personal vehicle and covering these expenses before applying.

REQUIREMENTS

You must have: Must be 21 years of age or older Valid driver's license Current auto insurance Reliable personal car or SUV Safety vest Smartphone with reliable service Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to safely handle packages Comfortable walking and climbing stairs throughout your route Strong communication and time-management skills Ability to work and problem-solve independently Must be ready to start Tomorrow

EXPERIENCE IS A PLUS!

Previous delivery experience is strongly preferred but not required. Experience with Amazon, Amazon Flex, FedEx, UPS, USPS, Veho, SpeedX, or similar last-mile delivery services is a

We especially want drivers who already understand: Apartment and residential deliveries Using delivery/navigation apps Managing a high-volume route Organizing and loading packages efficiently Taking delivery photos and following instructions Working independently and problem-solving in the field Completing routes accurately and on time If you already have delivery experience and are ready to work, we want to hear from you!

WHAT TO EXPECT

Drivers will pick up packages and complete assigned delivery routes safely and accurately. Some routes contain a high number of apartment deliveries. You must be comfortable walking, climbing stairs, locating apartment units, navigating complexes, and getting in and out of your vehicle throughout the day.

We want to be clear:

this job can be hard work. We're not trying to make the position sound easier than it is. However, it can be a good opportunity for someone who enjoys staying active, working independently, and taking responsibility for completing their route.

YOU MUST BE ABLE TO PROBLEM-SOLVE

We provide training and support, but drivers are expected to think and problem-solve independently while on the road. You should be comfortable figuring out apartment layouts, locating difficult addresses, handling gate/access issues, following delivery instructions, managing your route and time, and making reasonable decisions without needing step-by-step assistance. We're looking for drivers who can think on their feet and get the job done.

SCHEDULE FULL-TIME

Routes begin around 8:00 AM and must be completed by the delivery cutoff time.
