Job Description
Ramp Service Agents (RSA) at Pegasus Aviation Services are crucial to our operations, responsible for marshalling aircraft at the gate, loading, unloading, and sorting freight and baggage. They also service aircraft lavatories, provide potable water, push back aircraft from the gate, deice aircraft, and perform other delegated duties. RSAs follow established procedures and generally work under the supervision of Customer Service Reps, Supervisors, or Ramp Managers. Responsibilities Marshall aircraft on the ramp, including directing, assisting, and parking arriving, departing, and towed aircraft. Service aircraft as needed, including cabin cleaning and other required services. Perform aircraft de-icing/anti-icing. Shuttle crew members. Load and unload aircraft baggage and cargo. Operate all ground service equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain the safety and security of aircraft. Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old. Must have valid driver's license. Willingness to work in inclement weather. Good communication skills. Must be a U.S. citizen or show proof of right to work in the U.S. High School diploma or GED. Ability to lift up to 60 pounds comfortably. Fluency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English. Ability to work under stressful situations and tight time constraints in a fast-paced environment. Self-motivated and a team player. Successfully complete a background investigation, including FBI fingerprints, criminal history, and pre-employment drug test.
