NELOGIS is seeking an experienced Aircraft Fuel Servicing Supervisor to support direct aircraft refueling operations at Naval Air Station Lemoore, California. The Aircraft Fuel Servicing Supervisor will provide day-to-day leadership and oversight of personnel performing aircraft hot refueling operations. This position is responsible for ensuring staffing, qualifications, safety, training, and operational requirements are maintained while coordinating closely with Government representatives to support daily flight operations and scheduled surge requirements. The contract requires an experienced supervisor with at least two years of documented management and supervisory experience, along with aircraft refueling experience or aircraft maintenance experience that included refueling aircraft, and experience with airfield operations. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining safe, compliant, efficient, and mission-ready airfield and fuels operations. Key Responsibilities Supervise Aircraft Fuel Servicing personnel performing direct/hot aircraft refueling operations. Maintain adequate staffing to support daily flight operations and scheduled surge requirements. Coordinate employee availability, qualifications, absences, time off, and other staffing matters with NELOGIS management and the Government COR. Coordinate changes in flight schedules and surge operations to ensure adequate staffing and operational readiness. Ensure aircraft refueling operations are performed in accordance with NAVAIR 00-80T-109 and applicable Navy, DoD, DLA Energy, federal, state, and local requirements. Ensure direct refueling stations are properly inspected and required fuel samples and visual quality checks are completed before aircraft servicing. Ensure personnel remain properly trained, qualified, and certified for assigned duties. Oversee compliance with fuel safety, environmental, spill response, product quality, and operational procedures. Ensure accurate completion and retention of operational records, inspections, training documentation, and fuel transaction records. Support Government inspections, quality surveillance, and contract performance requirements. Conduct and/or track daily airfield inspections to ensure the airfield remains safe, compliant, and ready to support operations. Conduct inspections, preferably before and after daily operations, and ensure identified hazards or deficiencies are properly documented and addressed. Conduct inspections of facilities, equipment, work areas, and operational spaces to ensure safety, compliance, and operational readiness. Identify unsafe conditions and coordinate appropriate corrective actions. Recommend or initiate the suspension or restriction of operations when conditions present an unacceptable safety or operational risk or when risks have not been properly reported or mitigated. Identify, coordinate, and track required repairs, maintenance, construction, certifications, licenses, permits, and other operational requirements through completion. Monitor and track dispatch functions, airfield operational communications, and maintenance activities to maintain current awareness of airfield and equipment status. Maintain awareness of equipment and system functionality, including SKID operations and functionality, as applicable. Maintain awareness of operational schedules and communicate changes to appropriate personnel and teams. Support troubleshooting activities and coordinate with maintenance and operations personnel to minimize equipment and operational downtime and maintain mission readiness. Conduct Airfield Vehicle Operator Course (AVOC) training as required. Maintain accurate AVOC training rosters and records. Administer and grade required examinations and tests. Prepare and issue operator licenses and maintain associated documentation, as applicable. Track required training, certifications, licenses, qualifications, and expiration dates and coordinate renewals to maintain operational compliance. Ensure compliance with applicable safety requirements, procedures, regulations, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements. Ensure required PPE is worn while working on the airfield or performing duties in hazardous operational areas. PPE may include helmets, gloves, coveralls, safety glasses or goggles, respiratory protection, and safety footwear, as applicable. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to maintain safe, efficient, and mission-ready operations. Coordinate with contractors, Cold Fuels personnel, squadrons, airfield supervisors, Fuels Managers, military officials, Government personnel, and other stakeholders. Address customer concerns, complaints, mishaps, and disputes professionally and in accordance with established procedures. Promote teamwork, accountability, safety, and continuous improvement across the operation. Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, reduce downtime, and maintain mission readiness. Demonstrate sound judgment and professionalism when working in high-pressure or rapidly changing operational environments. Minimum Qualifications Minimum 2 years of documented management and supervisory experience. Minimum 2 years of experience as a Fuels Specialist or in a closely related aircraft operations position. Previous experience refueling aircraft, or experience as an aircraft maintainer who performed aircraft refueling. Previous experience working in airfield operations. Demonstrated technical knowledge and experience supervising troubleshooting efforts to minimize equipment and operational downtime. Documented leadership experience with working knowledge of Human Resources (HR) programs and practices necessary to effectively supervise and manage personnel. Experience conducting inspections of facilities, equipment, work areas, and/or operational spaces to ensure safety, compliance, and operational readiness. Ability to identify unsafe conditions, coordinate corrective actions, and make sound decisions regarding the suspension or restriction of operations when risks have not been properly reported or mitigated. Ability to identify, coordinate, and track required repairs, maintenance, construction, certifications, licenses, permits, and other operational requirements. Ability to read, understand, and apply technical procedures, regulations, operating instructions, and safety requirements. Ability to prepare reports and communicate effectively with employees, company management, and Government representatives.
