As a Gas Station Attendant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating the cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Duties Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately Perform cashier reconciliation at tend of each shift to ensure accurate management of sales Provide information on available products and services Perform basic maintenance tasks such as cleaning fuel pumps, restocking merchandise, and maintaining cleanliness of the station Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely manner Maintain inventory levels of merchandise and restock shelves as needed Work professionally with vendors and contractors Follow federal law and company standards on carding customers for all age restricted products sold at the station Effectively manage food service and beverages to ensure maximization of sales Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively. Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management. Familiarity with cash handling procedures is essential. Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell products and services. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively. Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems is a plus. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required.
