Job Summary Granite Trailer Sales LLC is seeking a dependable, hardworking Trailer Sales & Lot Associate. This is a hands-on position that combines customer service, sales and office responsibilities with physical outdoor work. The employee will assist customers with trailer purchases, process paperwork and payments, maintain inventory records and help unload and prepare trailers for sale. The majority of the work is performed outside in varying weather conditions. Responsibilities Greet customers, answer questions and help them select the appropriate trailer for their needs Answer incoming phone calls and provide courteous customer service Explain trailer types, features and available options after receiving training Process purchases, invoices and customer payments Work with Lendmark, rent-to-own providers and other financing companies Count money and provide correct change Enter and maintain accurate inventory information in QuickBooks Unload utility trailers, car haulers, dump trailers and other trailer inventory Unload and install tires and prepare trailers for the sales lot Keep the lot organized and presentable Mow, weed eat and assist with general grounds maintenance Perform other trailer-store and lot duties as needed Qualifications Dependable, punctual and ready to work as scheduled Able to work independently and take initiative after training Willing to learn, follow instructions and accept feedback Comfortable learning about trailers and helping customers make informed purchasing decisions Good customer-service and communication skills Basic math skills, including counting money and making change QuickBooks experience preferred; applicants who are comfortable with computers and able to learn quickly will also be considered Able to safely perform physical outdoor work, including lifting, moving and handling tires, equipment and trailer-related materials Comfortable working outside in varying temperatures and weather conditions Reliable transportation Pay and Benefits $16 per hour Health insurance is not currently offered Paid time off is not currently offered Prior trailer knowledge is helpful but not required. Training will be provided to the right person who is dependable, teachable and willing to learn.
