Job Description
About us Ice Cold Entertainment, Inc. is a boutique company highly experienced in the construction and operation of outdoor ice rink venues with high-end clients that demand enhanced aesthetics. The Wedgewood Village Ice Rink , located in the dynamic Wedgewood Houston area, is looking for part time seasonal help. Must be friendly and well groomed, ice skating abilities are needed! Starting Date is November 18th, 2026 and continues until January 18, 2027 . You must be available on weekends and throughout the holiday season. Employees will rotate through different positions including:
Skate Guard:
MUST BE ABLE TO ICE SKATE
- Patrols ice to ensure proper traffic flow and safe skating.
- Inspects ice for hazardous conditions (e.g., holes in ice, etc.); informs supervisor of hazardous conditions; places barriers around any hazards.
- Distributes and collects rental skates; sharpens skates.
- Patrols areas surrounding the ice rink, pick up trash and make sure skate bull pen area is clean. Shovel snow.
- Interact with customers to ensure customers are within safety compliance and provide excellent customer service.
Skate Hut Attendant:
- Collects and distributes ice skates to guests.
- Disinfects each pair of ice skates after each use.
- Restock ice skates into their designated slot.
- Patrols areas surrounding the ice rink, pick up trash and make sure skate bull pen area is clean.
- Interact with customers to ensure customers are within safety compliance and provide excellent customer service.
Box Office Attendant:
- Use POS system for ticket sales.
- Restock printer and office supplies as needed.
- Provide outstanding customer service.
Requirements:
- Willing and able to remain on your feet for extended period of time, and work in inclement weather.
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to ice skate is strongly recommended
