SUMMARY :
Responsible for receiving, issuing, and accountability of retail and bulk fuel in support of mobilizing ground and aviation military units.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Accounts for fuel received, on hand, and issued by utilizing military documentation. Complete military documentation accurately Operates the North Fort Cavazos retail fuel point(s) Contractors must be able to obtain Fuel Handler and HAZMAT certifications IAW Fort Cavazos Regulation 350-7, III Corps and Fort Cavazos Troop Schools. Certified in the use of Aqua-glo Water Detector Kit and conduct administrative fuel tests Millipore / Mini Monitor Kit for fuel contamination testing as necessary. Provide remote refilling capability to generator(s) and equipment at sites located within the cantonment Fuel handlers will ensure all local and military regulations are followed to prevent environmental damage.

EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
Minimum requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent. Must be able to obtain/maintain Common Access Card Valid state issued driver's license Ability to maintain post driving privileges
Preferred:
Have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with fuel preferred. Candidate that has successfully completed Army Enlisted 92F Course preferred. Prior work with military/government preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, comprehend and explain instructions, letters, memos, emails, and correspondence from inside the organization as well as from external sources. Ability to effectively respond, communicate and present information to customers, internal and external, clients and other employees in the organization. Ability to interpret instructions and information and explain to others in the performance of this job in English.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to sit for long periods of time, stoop down and lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. Must possess visual acuity to review written documentation; ability to hear and understand speech at normal room levels and on the telephone; and the manual dexterity to operate computer.
WORK ENVIRONMENT /HOURS
: Job is performed indoors and outdoors. The noise level in the work environment may vary from moderate to high depending on location.
EXPECTATIONS
Employee is expected to dress appropriately and be punctual for their shift. The employee must be dependable and have strong communication skills while meeting project deadlines. Must maintain accurate hours on timesheet through Cost Point.
