Full Job Description Part-Time Senior Companion & Transportation Assistant Location:
Marion, AR (travel to Memphis, TN area)
Pay:
Competitive hourly rate (based on experience), starts at $20 per hour.
Schedule:
Approximately 10+ hours per week. Hours vary weekly based on appointment schedules. Typical shifts are about 4 hours each. Job Overview We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and patient individual to assist an elderly woman with transportation to medical appointments and light household support. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping seniors maintain their independence and providing friendly companionship. Responsibilities Pick up client at her home in Marion, Arkansas. Drive the client's vehicle to medical appointments in the Memphis, Tennessee area. Assist client safely from her home to the vehicle and from the vehicle into medical offices. Wait during appointments and provide transportation back home afterward. Offer companionship and assistance as needed during outings. Help with light household tasks, such as: Tidying common areas Washing dishes Light laundry Organizing household items Other routine daily tasks Requirements Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Comfortable driving in the Memphis metropolitan area. Dependable, punctual, and trustworthy. Able to provide gentle physical assistance with walking and getting in and out of a vehicle. Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor. Experience working with seniors is preferred but not required. Must pass a background check and provide 3 references. Additional Information Client provides her own vehicle and pays for gas. No wheelchair assistance is required. Schedule changes weekly based on medical appointments.
