Medical License Full Job Description Description:
As a Medical Director for Access Medical Clinics (AMC), you will provide clinical leadership and oversight for medical care services within the long-term care facility. The Medical Director collaborates with administration, nursing leadership, and attending providers to ensure delivery of high-quality, compliant, and patient-centered care consistent with federal and state regulations. Compensation for this role will include a monthly stipend plus a pay per visit model.
Requirements:
Qualifications MD or DO with active state medical license Board certification in geriatric, family or internal medicine Experience in geriatrics, post-acute, or long-term care Knowledge of CMS and LTC regulatory requirements Typical Time Commitment 4 hours per month per facility for administrative duties On-site presence expectations once weekly for rounding on acute care and long-term care patients. Approx. 2 hours per week. Participation in QAPI and leadership meetings Availability for consultation
