Overview We are seeking an energetic and reliable Parts Runner to join our team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently transporting parts, materials, and equipment across our facilities and to job sites. Your proactive approach and strong driving skills will ensure smooth operations, timely deliveries, and excellent customer service. Duties Safely load, unload, and transport parts and materials using box trucks or personal vehicles while adhering to all traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Move items within warehouse operations using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment such as forklifts when certified Load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring proper weight distribution and safe lifting practices Deliver parts promptly to designated locations or job sites, maintaining professional customer service throughout each interaction Maintain accurate delivery logs using mobile devices and ensure all documentation is complete and up-to-date Follow route plans efficiently to meet delivery schedules while adhering to safety protocols and traffic laws Assist with warehouse operations as needed, including manual handling tasks like moving heavy items or organizing stock Requirements Previous warehouse experience or delivery driver experience preferred Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or commercial trucks is a plus Proven ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and moving materials Familiarity with route driving, load & unload procedures, and adhering to DOT regulations Experience operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks is desirable but not mandatory Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude during deliveries Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following safety guidelines at all times Comfortable using mobile devices for route navigation and record keeping Join our team as a Parts Runner to play a crucial role in keeping our operations running smoothly!
