Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver

Job Description

Job Summary iStaffing is Hiring! We are looking for reliable, compassionate, and safety-focused NEMT Drivers to provide safe and timely transportation for patients traveling to and from medical appointments, treatments, and healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, patient, and committed to providing excellent customer service while ensuring every passenger has a safe and comfortable transportation experience. Duties Safely transport patients to and from medical appointments and healthcare facilities. Assist passengers with entering and exiting the vehicle, including individuals with mobility limitations or special needs. Safely secure wheelchairs, walkers, and other mobility devices. Maintain communication with dispatch, healthcare providers, and passengers. Complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Keep the company vehicle clean and report any maintenance or safety concerns. Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures. Accurately complete trip logs, mileage reports, and other required documentation. Provide professional, respectful, and compassionate customer service. Qualifications Valid driver's license. Minimum 3 years of driving experience . Ability to pass a background check. Ability to pass a drug screening. Good knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to assist passengers and handle mobility devices safely. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work Monday through Saturday.
