Job Description

DME Delivery and Service Technician Job Overview Chino Medical Supply is seeking a dependable and professional DME Delivery and Service Technician. This position is responsible for preparing, delivering, assembling, setting up, cleaning, and maintaining durable medical equipment in patients' homes and healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, organized, comfortable interacting with patients, and committed to providing respectful and dependable customer service. Previous DME experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Responsibilities
  • Deliver and pick up durable medical equipment from patients' homes, hospitals, facilities, and other locations.
  • Assemble and properly set up equipment, including hospital beds, wheelchairs, walkers, commodes, patient lifts, support surfaces, and other medical equipment.
  • Clearly explain safe equipment use and basic care instructions to patients, caregivers, and facility staff.
  • Inspect, clean, sanitize, test, and prepare equipment before delivery.
  • Troubleshoot and complete basic maintenance or repairs when needed.
  • Accurately complete delivery tickets, equipment documentation, serial-number records, and patient signatures.
  • Load and unload equipment safely while protecting it from damage.
  • Maintain an organized warehouse, delivery vehicle, tools, and work area.
  • Follow company procedures, safety requirements, infection-control standards, and patient privacy rules.
  • Communicate professionally with patients, caregivers, office staff, and healthcare providers.
  • Notify office staff promptly of delivery issues, damaged equipment, missing items, or patient concerns.
  • Perform other warehouse, delivery, or equipment-related duties as assigned. Qualifications
  • Valid California driver's license and a clean, insurable driving record.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
  • Strong customer-service and communication skills.
  • Basic mechanical and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Ability to follow written instructions and complete documentation accurately.
  • Comfortable using a smartphone, navigation applications, and electronic delivery systems.
  • Previous DME delivery, medical equipment, warehouse, repair, or healthcare experience is preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a MUST. Physical Requirements
  • Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and climb stairs.
  • Ability to lift and move medical equipment weighing up to 50 pounds independently and heavier equipment with proper assistance or equipment.
  • Ability to safely load, unload, assemble, and transport medical equipment throughout the workday. Schedule and Compensation

  • Approximately 40 hours per week
  • Pay range: $20-$25 per hour, depending on DME experience, mechanical ability, and qualifications Chino Medical Supply is an equal-opportunity employer.
