We are committed to providing safe, dependable, and respectful transportation to individuals needing access to medical care. We're currently hiring dependable Drivers and Stretcher Team Drivers who are flexible, professional, and ready to make a meaningful impact in the community.
Position Overview:
As a NEMT Driver, you will transport clients to and from medical appointments with professionalism and care. Stretcher Team Drivers are responsible for clients requiring stretcher transport and must meet specific physical and safety standards. This position is ideal for individuals who are service-minded, reliable, and can work varied shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive company vehicles safely in compliance with traffic and safety laws Assist passengers with mobility needs, including securing wheelchairs and stretchers Perform vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness Ensure client confidentiality (HIPAA compliance) Communicate effectively with dispatch and passengers Accurately log trip details and times
Requirements:
Minimum age: 23 years Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to lift and maneuver a minimum of 75 lbs Open availability — must be able to work early mornings (starting at 4:00 AM) and late afternoon shifts (starting at 12:00 PM) Available to work weekends and holidays CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain Professional, courteous, and reliable Must pass a 10-panel drug test
Pay & Schedule:
$18.50/hour - Standard NEMT Drivers $19.00/hour - Stretcher Team Drivers Bi-weekly pay Full-time positions with flexible scheduling
