In this role, you will provide respectful transportation of deceased companion animals from veterinary hospitals, private residences, and other locations to our care facility. This is an on-call position requiring flexibility, professionalism, and compassion while interacting with grieving pet owners and veterinary staff. Duties & Responsibilities Transport deceased companion animals safely and respectfully to our facility. Pick up pets from veterinary hospitals, emergency clinics, private residences, and other designated locations. Verify identification and ensure all paperwork is complete and accurate. Maintain clear communication with the office regarding pickups and estimated arrival times. Handle pets with dignity, care, and respect at all times. Keep your vehicle clean, organized, and presentable. Follow company procedures and safety guidelines during every transport. Qualifications Must own a clean, reliable, and presentable SUV with sufficient cargo space. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Background check required. Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs independently. Comfortable working in a pet aftercare environment and transporting deceased companion animals. Professional appearance and compassionate demeanor. Strong communication and time management skills. Ability to work independently and respond to on-call assignments. Schedule This is an on-call position . Availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight calls is required. Pay $25.00-$150.00 per call , depending on the assignment.
