Overview Join our dynamic team as a Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver and become a vital link in providing safe, reliable, and compassionate transportation for individuals with medical needs. In this Saturday and Sunday Position, you will operate paratransit vans to transport clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and other essential destinations. Your positive attitude and excellent driving skills will ensure passengers experience comfort and safety every time they ride with us. Duties Safely operate vehicles to transport clients to scheduled appointments or destinations Assist client with entering and exiting vehicles Properly secure wheelchairs and mobility equipment Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of vehicles to ensure optimal safety and appearance Communicate clearly with clients to confirm pick-up times and destinations, providing friendly customer service throughout each trip Conduct pre-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety features are functioning properly Manage route schedules efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and company policies Handle heavy lifting when assisting clients with mobility devices or luggage as needed Experience Prior shuttle driving or delivery driver experience preferred; familiarity with handicap vehicles and securement is a plus A history of caregiving services is a must. Experience in paratransit or heavy lifting tasks that involve assisting passengers with special needs Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members Knowledge of vehicle maintenance basics to identify issues early and ensure safety standards are met Ability to handle multiple routes efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure Previous school bus or bus driving experience is advantageous but not required This role is ideal for motivated drivers eager to deliver exceptional service while advancing their driving career.
