Job Description

We are looking for a team player with great communication skills and a great attitude to join our company. The primary function of this position is to operate a refrigerated box truck safely. Hemingway's Drivers are expected to follow their assigned routes and deliver products to our various customers in the Connecticut and surrounding area. Drivers are also expected to be organized with their paperwork and products being delivered. In general, we are looking for hard-working employees who are willing to provide a dedicated effort to benefit both themselves and the company. Drivers are responsible for completing all pre-trip and post-trip responsibilities. These responsibilities include unloading and loading their assigned trucks at the end of their routes, cleaning and inspecting their trucks at the beginning and end of the day, and familiarizing themselves with their assigned routes. Drivers are responsible to be prompt to all deliveries and assist the customers with loading and unloading of our product. Furthermore, drivers are responsible for ensuring that deliveries are accurately made to each stop on their assigned routes. Drivers will be responsible for inventory control of all products on there trucks. Drivers are also expected to be adaptable to the needs of the client, as well as the needs of the company.
