VANDRIVEROpportunity in Haven, CT! $18.94 PER HOUR We'rehiring a Wheelchair VanDriverthat willrespond toemergency and/ornon-emergencyrequests fortransportationneedsanddeliver high-qualitycare, treatment and customer serviceto patients.
Responsibilities:
Drivers willrespond to operation and dispatchrequestsand usethe necessary tools, maps andaddresses toefficiently transport customersto and from facilitiesin a timely manner. Clearly documenttripinformationdetailsandadhere to company policies and procedureswhile maintaining confidentiality and patient rights. Take pride inmaintaininga safeandcleanvehicleenvironment for patients, complete the regularmechanical checklist at the start of shifts and report any vehicle issues to the Fleet Manager as needed. Use appropriatecommunication methods including standard radio transmission codes to effectively respond and route patients and comply with the company's information security standards. Drivers willoperatetransportation equipment including stretcher, hydraulic lift, wheelchairas well asbeable to useprotective personal equipment and manage disposal of supplies as necessary. Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellowdrivers and operations team.
MinimumRequiredQualifications:
State Driver's License High school diploma or equivalent (GED) CPR card Driving record in compliance withcompanypolicy PassPhysical Agility Test Some work experience, preferably in healthcare Why Choose AMR?
