As a key player in our delivery team, you will utilize your warehouse experience, driving skills, and customer service abilities to make a positive impact every day. Responsibilities Safely operate various types of vehicles including box trucks, commercial trucks, and personal vehicles for delivery purposes Load and unload goods using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks Follow established route plans, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and compliance with legal requirements Provide excellent customer service by delivering packages accurately and professionally, addressing customer inquiries as needed Utilize mobile devices for route navigation, delivery documentation, and communication with dispatch teams Handle heavy lifting tasks with proper techniques to ensure safety during moving or warehouse operations Qualifications Proven warehouse experience with familiarity in material handling equipment operation and warehouse operations Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or equivalent for driving commercial trucks or box trucks Experience in delivery driving, courier services, or similar roles involving load & unload responsibilities Knowledge of manual transmission driving and safe lifting practices for heavy items Strong understanding of traffic regulations, DOT regulations, and weight handling in the workplace Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via mobile devices or in person Ability to perform physical tasks including manual handling, moving heavy items, and operating manual handling equipment safely Embark on a rewarding career where your driving expertise meets meaningful service.
