NEMT Driver Georgia Express Mobility LLC is aggressively expanding its NEMT transportation network throughout Macon, Bibb County, and surrounding Middle Georgia communities. We are looking for reliable, professional, and dependable independent transportation providers to join our growing driver network. Drivers will provide safe and professional transportation for: Seniors Individuals with disabilities Medicaid members Wheelchair passengers Ambulatory passengers Healthcare facility residents Transportation may include trips to: Medical appointments Dialysis Hospitals Rehabilitation Physical therapy Specialist appointments Skilled nursing facilities Assisted living facilities Other approved healthcare destinations Driver Responsibilities Safely transport passengers to and from scheduled appointments. Provide professional and respectful customer service. Assist passengers with entering and exiting the vehicle when appropriate. Properly secure wheelchairs and mobility equipment. Maintain a clean, safe, and reliable vehicle. Arrive on time for scheduled transportation. Communicate professionally with passengers, facilities, and dispatch. Complete required trip documentation. Follow Georgia Express Mobility policies and procedures.
Requirements Applicants must:
Be at least 21 years old Have a valid driver's license Maintain an acceptable driving record Pass a background check Pass an MVR review Maintain required insurance Have a reliable vehicle appropriate for the position Demonstrate professional communication and customer-service skills Complete required company onboarding and training Previous NEMT, wheelchair transportation, healthcare, senior-care, or transportation experience is preferred but not required. Wheelchair Drivers Needed We are especially interested in drivers who: Have previous wheelchair transportation experience Own a wheelchair-accessible van Have experience transporting seniors or individuals with disabilities Why Georgia Express Mobility?
