Exceptional Community Services (ECS) is actively hiring a Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Driver for their team in Monroe , GA . The Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Driver must be compassionate, caring, reliable, and responsible. Drivers will safely transport wheelchair and stretcher clients to and from medical appointments, hospitals, dialysis centers, physical therapy, cancer treatment centers, and other healthcare facilities. Job Duties :
Safely transport clients using company vehicles Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding schedules and route updates Maintain a professional attitude with clients and coworkers Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness Assist clients entering and exiting vehicles and safely escort them to and from their destinations Operate GPS and the company transportation application Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements :
High school diploma/GED, required Valid Georgia driver's license with no violations in the last 3 years Clean background check, driving record, and ability to pass a drug screening 1+ years of experience in a related role, required Experience supporting individuals with mental/behavioral health needs and/or developmental disabilities Availability to work varying hours between 6:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
