Starting at $20.00 per hour + Overtime Immediate Openings - Apply Today We are actively hiring Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Drivers in the Springfield area. This is a full-time, stable position with consistent routes transporting patients to medical appointments, dialysis, and healthcare facilities. • Transport patients safely to and from medical appointments
• Assist ambulatory and wheelchair passengers (training provided)
• Secure wheelchairs and ensure passenger safety at all times
• Use GPS/dispatch systems for routing and communication
• Complete trip logs and required documentation for Medicaid compliance
• Perform daily vehicle inspections Pay & Benefits

$20/hour

• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Must be 21 years or older
• Ability to pass:
• Background check
• Drug screening
• Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check
• Must be eligible to work under Illinois Medicaid transportation guidelines
• Willing to complete required onboarding/training Preferred (Not Required)
• NEMT / medical transportation / paratransit experience
• Experience with wheelchair vans or patient transport
• Familiarity with MTM, Modivcare, or similar services
• CPR / First Aid certification Compliance Requirement (Important) This role requires eligibility under Illinois Medicaid transportation standards, including enrollment eligibility through the Illinois Medicaid IMPACT Program.
