Job Description

The Medical Transporter is responsible for safely transporting and accompanying individuals to medical appointments and procedures while ensuring their safety, dignity, and well-being. This position works closely with nursing and program staff to coordinate medical appointments, communicate concerns, obtain vital signs and monthly weights, maintain medical documentation, and ensure appointment paperwork is completed and returned appropriately. Additional responsibilities include delivering medications and supplies to CILA locations, assisting nursing staff with CILA visits and other assigned duties, maintaining organized medication areas, updating documentation in Therap and company systems, and providing direct support to individuals as needed
