Job Description

Warehouse Staff/Driver Position Summary:

The role involves working closely with the Warehouse Manager and team, ensuring trustworthiness in managing donations and the Mission's vehicles, and efficiently handling tasks such as donation pickups and deliveries. Additionally, it includes maintaining trucks, reporting issues, and treating all donors and customers with respect and kindness.

Main Responsibilities:

Follow the leadership of the Warehouse Manager for both locations at Havens and the donation warehouse. Work well with the warehouse team, residents and volunteers. Under the direction of the warehouse manager, have tasks for the residents and volunteers. Bale clothing and warehouse upkeep at both Haven's and the main donation warehouse. Be trustworthy with every aspect of the donation process. Follow and uphold KRM donation policies. Work with all appropriate personnel to receive items with gratitude. Send various items to appropriate locations with the help of staff. Pick-up donations and deliver purchases when the main driver is unavailable.

Maintain the trucks:

Report any issues immediately and monitor oil changes. Pickup donations and deliver purchases based on schedule provided. Exhibit excellent customer service.

Must possess a personal faith in Jesus Christ and pursue growing that faith in community with other believers. Must believe and adhere to the Kokomo Rescue Mission Doctrinal Statement and qualifications for employment outlined in the handbook. Must carry out the mission and vision of the Kokomo Rescue Mission while doing daily tasks. Must follow the leadership of the supervisor and work well with other KRM staff and clients.

Position Requirements:

Must excel customer service. Must be 21 years or older. Must be detail-oriented. Must possess and maintain a valid drivers license.

Education or Skill Set:

Driver's license and ability to be covered by our insurance.

Pay:
