Job Description

Schedule:
Tuesday, Thursday 4:30p-8:30p, and Saturdays 6:30am-1:00p New Leaf Clinic is seeking a reliable and safety-oriented Transportation Team Member to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting clients between the clinic and housing locations (all within a 4-mile radius), as well as occasional trips to pharmacies, food banks, grocery stores, and scheduled Clinic Provider appointments. You will serve as a vital part of our operations team, ensuring client access to care in a safe, respectful, and timely manner. Minimum Qualifications Must be 21 years or older with a valid Kentucky driver's license. Clean driving record (no DUI, reckless driving, or major violations). Must pass New Leaf Clinic's Driver Orientation and screening process. Must complete and pass "
Defensive Transportation Training:
Driving for Vanpool Drivers." Comfortable driving 12- and 15-passenger vans safely and responsibly. Ability to remain calm and professional when working with a vulnerable client population. Ability to lift and assist clients if needed during entry/exit of vehicle. Must pass background check and drug screening. Training & Safety Expectations Drivers must: Refrain from using cell phones or mobile devices while driving. Inspect vehicles before each use (check for fluid leaks, tire pressure, headlights, etc.). Know the location of insurance documentation and accident procedures. Understand and use all vehicle controls, including mirrors, lights, and cruise control. Load passengers from front to back to balance weight distribution. Drive cautiously through parking lots and take turns at reduced speed to avoid rollovers. Follow all defensive driving techniques taught in training. Undergo driving skill evaluations every three years per State of Kentucky guidelines.
