Job Description

Overview We are seeking a reliable and professional Transport Driver to join our team. This role involves operating various types of vehicles to ensure the safe and timely transportation of passengers or goods. The ideal candidate will have experience in NEMT driving, shuttle driving, delivery, or bus driving, with strong customer service and communication skills. A valid chauffeur driver's license and a clean driving record are essential. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing essential transportation services across different sectors. Duties Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport passengers Ensure adherence to all traffic laws and safety regulations during transit Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing excellent customer service Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic maintenance tasks to ensure vehicle safety and functionality Load and unload cargo or assist with heavy lifting as needed Maintain accurate records of trips, deliveries, or passenger logs Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate schedules and address any issues promptly Follow all company policies regarding safety protocols and vehicle operation standards Skills Proven experience in shuttle driving, delivery driving, bus driving, or limousine services Valid chaffuer driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving or school bus licenses are a plus Strong communication skills for interacting with passengers and team members Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary and handle physical demands of the job Knowledge of vehicle maintenance basics to identify potential issues early Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and customer service Experience in paratransit services or heavy-duty commercial driving is preferred Ability to navigate efficiently using GPS or maps and adapt to changing routes or schedules This position is vital for ensuring reliable transportation services while maintaining high safety standards.
