Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Non-Medical Transportation Driver, where you will play a vital role in providing safe, reliable, and courteous transportation services for clients requiring non-medical travel assistance. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will ensure passengers reach their destinations comfortably and on time. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to community mobility, supporting individuals with their daily needs through expert driving and exceptional customer service. The successful candidates will have a clean driving record and a friendly and patient personality. Duties Provide professional, courteous, companionship and reliable service at all times Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off of passengers at scheduled locations Safely transport clients to and from scheduled medical appointment, community events, or personal errands while maintaining punctuality and professionalism. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, perform pre-trip vehicle inspections to ensure proper maintenance, cleanliness, and safety standards are met. Communicate effectively with clients to confirm destinations, provide assistance with boarding and exiting vehicles, and address any special needs or requests. Navigate efficiently using GPS navigation systems to follow designated local routes and optimize travel times. Perform light manual handling tasks such as assisting passengers with mobility devices or luggage; securing wheelchairs when necessary. Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage logs, and client interactions in compliance with company policies and state transportation regulations. Qualifications Previous experience as a delivery driver, bus driver, shuttle driver, or chauffeur driving is highly desirable. Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle operated; clean driving record required; social security card will be required upon hire. Experience operating passenger vans, limousines, or medical transportation vehicles preferred; chauffer license is a must Knowledge of GPS navigation tools and local driving routes to ensure efficient service delivery. Strong understanding of traffic laws and state transportation regulations applicable to passenger vehicles. Excellent communication skills for client interaction and client communication management. Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting passengers or handling luggage safely. Demonstrated commitment to customer service excellence with a friendly and professional demeanor; patience, empathy, and effective communication are a plus Ability to perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues promptly. Pay:
$130.00 - $150.00 per day
