Job Description
Experienced FedEx Ground contractor is currently hiring for growing residential and business industry needs. We are looking for responsible individuals to work full-time. Our company is an equal employment opportunity company with a drug free workplace. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Pre-tip and Post-trip inspections of your assigned vehicle Organize packages on your truck Dispatch with scanner and paperwork Deliver & pick-up packages to residential and business addresses Provide feedback and research in customer complaints and missing packages from your route Requirements include: 21 years of age or older Must pass a federally regulated drug test and on-going random drug tests Must pass a background check Must pass driving record check Must pass a company-paid DOT physical Capable of driving trucks ranging from 18' box truck to 22' step van 1 year of work-related driving experience within the past 3 years preferred, but not required (paid training available) Must be able to lift up to 150lbs with a dolly to assist, most packages are about 20-35 lbs Must be able to read a map or use company-provided mapping systems Currently hiring for all work schedules, we operate 7 days a week (contact us with any questions) Your own transportation to and from work is required. Trucks are not allowed to go home.
