Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Durable Medical Equipment Driver to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that patients receive the necessary medical equipment in a timely and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to handle physical demands associated with the delivery and setup of medical equipment. Duties Deliver durable medical equipment to patients' homes or healthcare facilities. Load and unload equipment from vehicles, ensuring safe handling and transport. Assemble and set up medical equipment as needed, providing instructions to patients or caregivers on proper usage. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including patient information and equipment details. Adhere to all safety protocols while driving and handling equipment. Requirements Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for moving medical equipment. Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Clean background Experience as a van driver or courier is beneficial for this role. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential. Good communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare staff. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while on route driving.
