Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Driver/Mover to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods, furniture, and equipment while providing exceptional customer service. Your energy and attention to safety will ensure smooth operations during loading, unloading, and delivery processes. Responsibilities Safely operate various vehicles including box trucks, commercial trucks, and personal vehicles for delivery and moving assignments Load and unload items using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and dollies Follow established routes adhering to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards to ensure timely deliveries Assist customers with the loading, unloading, and placement of items, ensuring proper handling practices to prevent damage Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to maintain safety and compliance with DOT regulations Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and route details using mobile devices or other digital tools Collaborate with warehouse staff during material handling operations and coordinate logistics for efficient load management Skills Proven experience in delivery driving, moving, or warehouse operations with a focus on manual handling and heavy lifting Familiarity with operating box trucks, commercial trucks, or personal vehicles for commercial purposes Knowledge of safe lifting practices, weight handling in the workplace, and proper use of material handling equipment such as pallet jacks Strong understanding of traffic laws, DOT regulations, and route driving best practices Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients Ability to operate mobile devices for navigation, record keeping, or communication during routes Physical stamina for manual lifting, loading/unloading cargo, and long periods of driving or standing This role is perfect for energetic individuals who thrive in active environments and are committed to safety while delivering top-notch service.
