Responsibilities Assist delivery drivers with loading, unloading, and securing cargo using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as lift gate and dollys Support the route driving process by helping to organize deliveries and ensuring timely arrivals at customer locations Help with warehouse operations including moving materials within the facility, loading the truck and maintaining a clean work environment Follow all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, traffic laws, and safety protocols during route driving and material handling Safely lift heavy items using proper lifting practices to prevent injury and ensure efficient load management Use mobile devices for communication, navigation, and documentation during daily tasks Assist in load & unload activities at warehouses or customer sites, ensuring accuracy and safety in all handling procedures Support customer service efforts by maintaining a professional attitude during deliveries and interactions with customers Experience Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is preferred not required. Delivery driver experience involving personal vehicle delivery or commercial truck driving is a plus not required. Knowledge of manual handling techniques, heavy lifting, and safe lifting practices is essential Familiarity with material handling equipment operation like lift gate or dolly's enhances your suitability for this role Ability to adhere strictly to DOT regulations, traffic laws, and safety standards during route driving Strong physical stamina for manual lifting, moving heavy items, and working in physically demanding environments Background check required Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with team members and customer interaction This energetic role offers a chance to develop your skills in delivery logistics while contributing to a team committed to safety, efficiency, and outstanding service.
