Position Summary:
This position is responsible for performing deliveries of company materials and products to job sites and customers using company vehicles (non-CDL, 26,000 GVWR box trucks). When not on the road, the Delivery Driver supports shipping and receiving activities, prepares and completes required administrative functions, and performs facility upkeep responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities:
Follow departmental and company safety rules and standards. Operate company vehicles for local and interstate deliveries; routine overnight stays (up to 4 days) may be required. Load and secure aluminum railings and hardware for transport; assist with unloading at job sites and ensure accurate inventory transfer. Maintain Class E driver's license and current DOT medical card; comply with all DOT regulations, and completes required company training. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (tires, fluids, lights, brakes) and maintain driving records via company DOT compliance and tracking software. Wash and clean interior and exterior of trucks. Restock truck supplies in vehicles (straps, blankets, packing materials, PPE) Maintain and reconcile mileage log, hours-of-service log, and fuel card purchases. Submit expense report or receipts on a timely basis. Review upcoming route assignments and schedule to be prepared for deliveries, and reviews site access instructions or special delivery notes. Confirm appointments for upcoming routes with the receiving team. Support warehouse operations activities during non-driving times: Load/unload materials from trucks utilizing fork trucks and pallet jacks. Stage and organize outbound shipments by route or site. Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely. Participate in cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy in D365. Process returned materials and restock material to inventory. Organize and clean yard by managing pallet stock and cleaning up debris and emptying trash bins, and performs light facility maintenance by running sweeper and organizing storage spaces. Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with 5S and safety standards. Promote a culture of teamwork, continuous improvement, and safety. Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
High school diploma or equivalent. Valid Class E driver's license and DOT medical card. Clean driving record and ability to pass annual motor vehicle record review. Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain). Previous warehouse or delivery experience preferred. Ability to operate computers and warehouse management systems (D365). Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
