Overview Join our dynamic team as a White Glove Delivery Helper, where your energy and dedication will ensure our customers receive exceptional service from start to finish. In this vital role, you will assist with the safe and efficient delivery of high-value, large-scale items directly to customers' homes or businesses. Your focus on careful handling, customer satisfaction, and teamwork will help create memorable experiences that keep our clients coming back. Duties Assist delivery drivers with loading and unloading large, heavy items using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and dollies Safely load and unload trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and adherence to safe lifting practices in accordance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Help carry items into customer locations with care, respecting their property and ensuring damage-free delivery Support the driver in route driving while adhering to traffic regulations and safety protocols Use mobile devices to communicate effectively with team members, update delivery statuses, and document delivery details accurately Ensure all deliveries are completed on time by following assigned routes and schedules using route driving best practices Maintain warehouse operations by assisting with inventory management, material handling, and organization of delivery supplies Experience Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is highly desirable Delivery driver experience, especially with box trucks or vans, is preferred Experience in commercial driving or operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or manual transmission vehicles is a plus Knowledge of safe lifting practices, heavy lifting techniques, and manual handling procedures in a workplace setting Ability to adhere strictly to traffic laws, DOT regulations, and safety standards during all driving activities Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting directly with clients during deliveries Comfort using mobile devices for communication and documentation during daily tasks This role is perfect for motivated individuals who thrive on physical activity, enjoy helping others, and take pride in delivering outstanding service.
