Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver
Job Description
Overview Join our team as a Non-emergency Medical Transportation Driver and become a vital part of ensuring safe, reliable, and friendly transportation. In this energetic role, you will operate paratransit vehicles, providing a positive experience for clients while maintaining the highest safety standards. Your dedication will help foster a nurturing environment on every trip, making a difference in clients daily lives through dependable service and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities Safely operate paratransit vehicles to transport clients and related activities Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies to ensure secure transportation at all times Assist clients with boarding and exiting vehicles, providing support for those with special needs requirements Maintain a clean, organized vehicle interior and report any mechanical issues promptly to ensure optimal operation Communicate clearly with clients, and dispatchers to coordinate schedules and address any concerns or emergencies Complete daily logs, incident reports, and vehicle inspection checklists accurately and on time Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record of 3+ years required; experience in driving or commercial driving preferred Proven ability to operate paratransit or similar large vehicles safely and responsibly Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse communities Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems to assist with basic troubleshooting or maintenance needs Ability to handle behavior management effectively while maintaining a calm demeanor during challenging situations Knowledge of local traffic laws, safety regulations, and child passenger safety standards Must be physically able to assist clients with boarding/exiting vehicles and perform routine vehicle inspections Join us in delivering more than just transportation — deliver confidence, care, and consistency every day! Pay:
