Job Description

$16.00/Hour Full-time position 8.0 hour day The Burks Companies is looking for responsible drivers to safely operate company vehicles to transport workers, equipment, and supplies to and from assigned locations within coverage areas of job site location. Responsibilities include driving, route sequencing, order verification, loading and unloading of orders, return service and providing feedback from customers. The Delivery Driver position is required to possess at a minimum a valid Class E Level license or equivalent and be knowledgeable of the DOT rules and regulations. Essential Job Function Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on vehicle and refer defects or need for repairs to manager. Transport TBC employees to and from work designated pickup and drop off points. Review and prepare routes to ensure timely, accurate and efficient deliveries. Maintain cleanliness of inside and outside of vehicle. Maintain telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive expedited delivery instructions. Immediately communicate delivery, traffic and safety issues to supervisor. Perform general utility and other duties as assigned. Update delivery records and return undelivered items TBC Van Driver will be subject to undergoing a motor vehicle screening and complete safety training.
